HAPPY NEW YEAR 2018

I had a good Advent and an enjoyable 2 day Christmas holiday and now we are well into the new year 2018.
My New Year resolution is to finish my long term hobby project that I have been creating as a video course. Also, my wife & I have a resolution to walk 1000 miles with friends, so do join in! To be honest I know little about this, I just enjoy walking in the countryside with my wife! See her blog..1000mileswithfriends.com

As we live in Suffolk UK we mainly do Suffolk walks! Last week we walked around Pin Mill, on the River Orwell and had a fine time and finished in the Red Lion pub at Chelmondiston, which we recommend!

Today we walked inland around Hawkedon village and through Thurston End. There we saw many tree decorations, but I can find no information on these, so this is a mystery!

There were many other decorated trees through this village with several single clothes pegs pinned to trees too?! A mystery…..Sadly the pub was too busy to stop at, but we will return!

So, I trust I can summon up the energy to do more regular posts this year, till the next one, take care! 🙂
