Windows 10 update

I haven’t posted in a while as I have been busy with other projects, so I thought I would mention my desktop PC recently upgraded from Windows 8 to Windows 10.

So far, I am quite pleased with Windows 10. It has quite a nice set of new theme display options that means folders display with new icons and the lokk is modern and quite acceptable.

I don’t really like computer start up as I get 2 start screens on PC switch on. After clicking the first screen I get the next one to enter my Windows-Microsoft ID/log on detail. Needing 2 screens to get started is unecessary in my view.

Windows 10 Photo app png transparency view problem

Finally, I am just experiencing a problem viewing some of my images in the default image viewer for Windows 10 which is Photo app and the fact it has such a dark background that transparency images do not display properly. See the images below:

It would seem I need to change the default dark background of the Photo app to a light colour to fix this, but I cannot see or find how to do this yet! I will keep looking for a solution for this, and if anyone does know how to easily fix this, I would like to hear how!

So, anyway Windows 10, in the main is working well on my desktop PC. Do you use Windows 10 and are satisfied? Happy computing and blogging..now back to work!
