This first post on Ubuntu is part of my site reorganisation (at 16/11/12) where I am replacing my old static menu pages with blog post menu category pages!
So as with the other pages (My Internet Marketing Tips, My Tech Tips, WordPress) I am adding the old content from my old static Ubuntu page & here it is:

I installed Ubuntu 10.04 LTS Lucid Lynx on this my second network computer via WUBI installer back in November 2010.
Since then I have had many ups and downs with working in Ubuntu from this computer which I will briefly outline here.
Mon 7 Mar 2011
Since posting about Ubuntu I have had another major crash with Ubuntu10.04 & as I have had several serious crashes needing reinstalls I decided NOT to reinstall Ubuntu again!
For some reason I could not install Ubuntu10.10 so I decided to try Fedora (F14).
So for the last 2 weeks or more I have been running dual boot Fedora14 / Vista on my PC.
I have had one major crash with F14 but only x1! With Ubuntu I had more major & minor crashes, so presently I think Fedora14 is more stable than my Ubuntu10.04 and so I am happy to continue using Fedora.
I may retry Ubuntu at a later time & hope it is more stable.
So it is goodbye Ubuntu & hello Fedora!
To this effect I am putting up a Fedora page to note my experience with Fedora14….
Happy Linux & Vista programming to all!

Well that's all for now and I may not be adding any more Ubuntu posts as I remain still using Fedora on my second computer! If that remains the case forever I will remove this page entirely, but am leaving it for a while longer as I may find more to say and blog about Ubuntu. Otherwise for my Linux digital dealings it will be best to see my Fedora posts.
